Arrival by Skybus or Helicopter to St Mary’s – when you arrive at the airport, there will be Skybus/helicopter transfer drivers waiting in arrivals for you and will transport you and your luggage down to St Mary’s quay to wait for your boat to Bryher.  The charge for this is £4.50 per head payable by contactless card and your driver can pre-arrange your return journey on your departure day.

Arrival by Scillonian III – Your luggage is automatically transferred from the Scillonian III onto your boat to Bryher.

ALL GUESTS – There is a cafe/restaurant on the quay if you need refreshments as you are waiting for your transfer.  All transfers to Bryher are dictated by tides & weather so if your wait time is slightly longer than anticipated, you can go and explore Hugh Town.

Your transport from St Mary’s to Bryher will generally be on The Firethorn (£6 per person/children half price) or by Jetboat where prices are slightly higher depending on number of passengers.
When you arrive on Bryher, a representative  from your accommodation will be there to meet you, collect your luggage and show you the way to your property.  Current guidelines state that  face coverings  are required at all times when travelling on boats and social distancing rules must apply on congested quays.

On arrival at Tresco Heliport, once bags have been collected, you will be whisked down to The Quay to await your boat transfer to Bryher.  The Waiting room will be open to leave luggage should you have to wait a little longer due to tides.

Due to the location of the islands, travel can sometimes be delayed and occasionally cancelled due to low cloud, adverse sea conditions or strong winds.  We recommend travel insurance at all times which will ease any financial burden of finding accommodation at your departure point for the night.  Your chosen transport provider will contact you and help you make amended travel arrangements and overnight reservations.
